Job Description

We are looking to recruit a full-time Order Management and Inventory Associate to process customer orders, manage inventory levels, and ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using our order management system.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure stock availability and minimise shortages.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and reconciliations to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Coordinate with couriers to manage lead times.
  • Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly labelled and documented.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including the inventory storage area.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of inventory management procedures.
  • Handle returns.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Provide guidance to enhance team performance.
  • Manage and prioritise multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Facilitate clear and open communication within the team.
  • Communicate with other departments to improve fulfilment processes and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an e-commerce environment. This will be an advantage to your application.
  • Ideally, at least 3 years of order processing, inventory control, or similar experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner.
  • Excellent computer literacy, including iMacs.
  • Ability to lift and move inventory items as required.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Initiative to handle complex scenarios effectively.
  • Sewing skills would be an advantage.
  • Experience with hair extensions and an understanding of colour matching would be an advantage.
  • Passion for hair extensions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
