Overview
We are seeking a skilled Panel Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship and a strong understanding of panel-making techniques. This role involves working with various materials to fabricate, assemble, and finish wooden structures and components. A commitment to quality and attention to detail is essential for success in this position.

Duties

• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and join wood materials.
• Fabricate wooden fencing and trellis panels
• Perform joinery tasks, ensuring precise measurements and alignment.
• Assemble components using appropriate techniques to ensure structural integrity.
• Conduct masonry work as needed for projects involving wood.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools are stored properly after use.
• Collaborate with team members on project planning and execution to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a panel maker or woodworker is preferred.
• Proficient in using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools used in woodworking tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Must have a keen eye for detail.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
• A commitment to safety practices in the workshop environment.
