Part-time Friday Receptionist

Role Overview

The Forge Dental is looking for a professional, organised, and confident Receptionist to join the team on Fridays and occasional Saturdays. This role is ideal for someone with strong IT and administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the practice throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Managing incoming calls, emails, and patient enquiries
• Booking, amending, and confirming appointments
• Using practice management systems and handling patient records accurately
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate administrative records
• Maintaining a tidy and professional reception environment
• Ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong IT and computer skills
• Confident using emails, calendars, and administrative systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Professional, reliable, and punctual

Nice to Have

• Previous dental practice experience
• Previous receptionist or front-of-house experience
• Experience working in healthcare or a customer-facing environment
