Parts Advisor (Smiths Peterborough)

We are looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join our friendly team at our Peterborough site on Bretton Way. Our parts departments are busy, fast-paced environments offering both retail and trade services with high volumes of incoming calls.

Key Duties

• Provide a profitable and efficient supply of parts and accessories to both internal and external customers.
• Promote and maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and retention using sound selling techniques.
• Ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a prompt, courteous, helpful and professional manner.
• Locate and issue parts to technicians including using our iVHC system.
• Qualify customers and accurately identify their requirements.
• Locate and document the sale of parts, accounting for any money received.
• Record accurate information using the dealership’s computer systems.

Salary, Benefits, and Working Hours

The salary for this role is up to £31,000 OTE. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30. We are also happy to discuss flexible working arrangements that work for both you and us.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be confident using a computer
• Have a strong belief in providing excellent customer service
• Be flexible in their approach to work
