Pizza Chef Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pizza Chef Supervisor to oversee our busy kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality food. This role involves supervising food preparation, support in managing a team, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. The successful applicant will play a vital part in maintaining our reputation for exceptional pizza and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food quality.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
• Manage and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing training and support to optimise performance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen activities.
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation.
• Assist in developing new pizza recipes and menu items to enhance customer offerings.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.

Skills

• Proven supervising experience within a food production or hospitality setting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene.
• Experience working in a restaurant or pizzeria environment is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and management.
