Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance & Post-Installation Technician is responsible for ensuring that all kitchen and fitted furniture installations meet the highest quality standards. This role involves conducting final inspections, performing necessary adjustments and addressing any issues that arise during or post installation. The technician will work closely with installation manager and customers to ensure complete satisfaction with the final product.

Final Inspections & Post-Installation Adjustments:

· Conduct thorough inspections of installed kitchens and fitted furniture to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

· Identify and document any issues or defects, including misalignments, damages or missing components. Forming an action plan to solve any issues in a timely manor.

· Perform necessary adjustments to fittings, fixtures, and alignments to ensure a perfect finish.

· Replace any broken or missing parts promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

Customer Interaction:

· You will be interacting with customers on a daily bases, ensuring you have access to their properties.

· When the customer is present during any visits you will be required to explain to them details of any works being carried out, should they ask.

Quality Assurance & Reporting:

· Collaborate with the installation team to ensure continuous improvement in installation practices.

· Using our phone based App input records of inspections, adjustments, customer feedback and photographs.

Skills and Qualifications:

Required Skills:

· Proficiency in using carpentry/woodworking and fitting tools.

· Strong understanding of kitchen and fitted furniture installation processes.

· Keen eye for detail to identify and rectify minor defects and ensure a flawless finish.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.

· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently.

Experience:

· Previous experience in kitchen or furniture installation, carpentry, or a related field is required.

Working Conditions & Benefits:

· This role will require you to travel to various installation sites throughout N.Ireland.

· Own company van fully kitted with tools.
