Full job description

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing speciality food and drink wholesaler in our own production/processing team.

You will work under the guidance of our Production Manager to produce pre-pack meats, cheeses, charcuterie and deli-tubs.

Key tasks:

Handling food products

Cutting/processing large volumes of cheese and meats into smaller individual sale items.

Use of knives/cutters/slicing machines/vac-packers etc.

Ensuring all items are handled with care

Adhering to H&S regulations

General warehouse/production duties where required

Candidate profile

A strong work ethic and can-do attitude

Keen eye for detail with high levels of accuracy

Able to work as part of a team as well as independently

Happy to work in a “hands-on” practical environment

Educated to GCSE level with good numeracy skills

Previous experience in food manufacturing/production would be beneficial however full training will be given.

Previous knowledge of Food H&S legislation would be advantageous.

Hours of work: 07:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday
