Professional Services Project Manager – Remote based

As Project Manager you will represent a key facet ofour client’sProfessional Services engagement model. Serving as the point of contact during solution delivery, the Project Manager will ensure that all project activities are completed on time, and to the satisfaction of customers.Project Managers in our client’s organisation need to have a flexible, customer-focused mindset, and understand how to navigate the needs of project stakeholders on all sides of the project equation. Strong interpersonal skills are critical, as our client’s customers are driven, top-tier professionals with high expectations of theproduct and delivery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create and maintain project schedules utilising industry best practices and ourclient’sengagement methodology
  • Schedule and facilitate sessions for planning, resourcing, and executing project work between Customer and internal resources
  • Work in coordination with the Project Management Office to update internal systems with project health information and progress metrics. 

Key requirements:

  • Strong customer-facing skills, to include project leadership, managing customers, scope, and business critical timelines, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Project Management Professional (ACP or PMP) certification, or similar recognised project management certification
  • 5+ years of project management experience, working in both agile and waterfall environmentsina PMO environment
  • Experience working with large financial customers
  • Experience working with international customers across a variety of cultures/working environmentsand with distributed teams across multiple time zones
  • BA/BS or MA/MS in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology or related field
  • Willingness to travel as the need arises (up to 30%, including international travel)
  • This position works remotely; successful candidates will need to have quality internet access in their home office and be able to host web meetings with international attendees as required
