Full job description
To complement our growth plans for 2024 and onwards, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join us at our Newlands House office on the University grounds in Hull. Ideally, we’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in delivering B2B software or hardware projects.
Anota is a fast-paced, innovative technology company that delivers automation and workflow solutions for a range of household names across the automotive, logistics and manufacturing sectors. Based in Hull, you will work with stakeholders and departments across multiple projects. The purpose of the role is to effectively deliver, monitor and track complex projects with our client partners ensuring expectations are not just met but exceeded. This will include scoping, project initiation, coordinating multiple departments, working with 3rd party suppliers, and aligning timescales to development, implementation, training, UAT and go-live.
You will be responsible for managing and maintaining project roadmaps, delivering project reports and data, and making sure all projects are being delivered on time and within budget. You will work closely with other business areas to make sure the project is implemented seamlessly whilst continually liaising with the client partner to mitigate any issues that may arise. You will engage with multiple IT and wider business project teams to focus the direction, remove blockers, and increase development flow. You’ll be the point of call working alongside our Senior Leadership Team to keep stakeholders and client partners updated on all project progress.
Responsibilities include:
- Use agile and/or waterfall principles to manage multiple client partner projects simultaneously.
- Understand the key requirements and gain a deep understanding of the client partner automation needs.
- Assess the impact of change requests on projects and identify the risks and benefits from their implementation documenting as appropriate.
- Travel to client sites for scoping/training and CSM duties.
- Present solution proposals, processes, and product features to client partner project teams.
- Working within multidisciplinary teams to ensure deliverables met specified requirements.
- Defining, and planning solutions to improve the planning software.
- Reviewing and ensuring projects are signed off before being passed to the development team.
- Preparing proposals for proof-of-concept opportunities relating to new business opportunities across software development.
- Reporting on key performance measures against project delivery.
- Hosting regular online and in-person meetings with relevant business departments to capture feedback and opportunities.
- Ensure communication plans are created and delivered for all projects.

Further information:
Salary: £28-32k per year DOE
Work Location: Newlands House, Inglemire Lane, Hull.
