A leading ecommerce agency, we create and support online stores for some of the world’s biggest brands, including Heineken, Boots, Leicester City Football Club and Novuna.

What you’ll be doing

• Working collaboratively within a small team of Developers, and Product Managers/Owners, in our Agile/Kanban environment, from sprint planning to completion.

• Carry out a range of manual testing techniques on new and existing Websites, across Frontend and Backend.

• Champion new ideas and identify areas of improvement across the entire QA process.

• Utilising automated tests to identify defects and ensure the results are reported and defects are triaged, whilst feeding into technical standards and the continuous improvement of the testing suite.

Responsibilities

• Creating and managing test plans

• Carrying out test plans

• Managing and reporting testing progress

• Reporting progress and identifying, escalating and removing obstacles that might endanger the agreed release date

• Working closely with developers to identify and resolve issues

Essential

• A keen eye for detail and championing the user experience

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Ability to adapt to the situation and use the appropriate manual / automated testing techniques

• Experienced at gathering, documenting acceptance criteria for user stories in a TDD format

• Test analysis activities such as creating test plans and reports.

Nice to Have

• Previous testing of ECommerce websites.

• Experience of breaking down Adobe XD and Zeplin files to test against Front End implementation

SALARY - range £25,000 - £35,000 per annum based on experience.

COVID-19 considerations:
We’re currently working remotely but will return to the office when we feel it is safe to do so. This return will be a gradual shift towards a hybrid of working from home and office days.
