ROLE OVERVIEW
Job Location: Site Based, (across the North East/UK) with Head Office being based at NE11 9JW
Salary: Dependant upon experience

Role Overview:
This role is vital to ensuring that the quality of the work produced on our construction sites meets both the contractual requirements as well as the expectations of Meldrum. This role will report to the Head of Design.
Key Responsibilities
- The inspection of ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and their correct usage on site.
- Checking site specifications, against expected progress, and reviewing the correct completion of site quality records.
- Carrying out physical walkarounds of each site, looking for inaccurate details and potential defects.
- Logging of defects via our existing systems (Field View).
- Checking the construction is being built in accordance with the design, with no deviation.
- Providing early identification of issues with air tightness, fire-stopping, sound attenuation, damp and water ingress.
- Providing advice to site teams regarding expectations around the quality of finishes.

WHAT WE ASK FOR
We are looking for a committed and positive individual with 5+ years’ experience working with a Construction related Project Information Management system.
You should demonstrate fantastic organisational skills and will need to be able to manage your own time and meet targets and deadlines.
A clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/ instructions to staff and outside organisations
