We’re currently looking for a highly organised, motivated, and driven Reception Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. As Reception Manager, you will be an integral part of our friendly, dynamic team. You’ll bring your academic expertise, strong IT skills, and accountancy knowledge to manage our reception team and ensure smooth daily operations at our thriving holiday park.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide a high level of customer service by greeting guests, assisting with check-ins/check-outs, handling guest queries, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all bookings are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other departments to meet guest needs, including housekeeping, maintenance, and activities.
  • Upsell Park amenities and services to enhance guest experiences.
  • Lead, organise and motivate the Reception team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the Park's administration.
  • Ability to drive bookings and maximise Park occupancy.
  • Ensure all reception-related paperwork, including guest registration, payments, and pitch allocations are completed accurately.
  • Handle financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Oversee the stock and ordering of reception supplies, such as brochures, maps, and office materials.
  • You must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, as it will be a requirement to oversee the day-to-day organisation of reception.
  • Managing the seasonal customer base, ensuring compliance to T's and C's.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A proven track record and experience in leading and managing a successful team.
  • Experience with booking systems, ideally Gema Park or similar.
  • Strong background in the tourism and leisure industry.
  • A proactive approach, with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative.
  • A calm, positive and professional attitude.
  • First Aid at Work (or a commitment to working towards)
  • To maintain a strong emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to motivate and delegate.
