Full job description
This is a rich and varied role that offers the opportunity to engage with organisations across business, government and academia. The role covers climate finance and infrastructure, and although we do not require applicants to have prior experience in those areas, a passion for learning and engaging with them is essential. This position demands a keen curiosity and a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning.

Please note that this is not a business development or sales role.
Our working patterns are Mondays and Fridays work from home, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the office.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Relationship management
Own and manage a set of member accounts covering infrastructure and climate finance, including:
· Supporting onboarding
· Preparing reports and presentations for meetings
· Running online and in-person meetings
· Following up member requests
· Ensuring account notes are updated
· Tracking activities in Salesforce
· Leading on communications with members’ marketing teams around report launches and other events
· Supporting the Programme Director with their member accounts, as required
Working Group Support
Contribute to the successful running of the working groups by:
· Providing operational and administrative support to ensure the Water Resilience, Climate Finance, and Nature working groups run smoothly
· Acting as day-to-day point of contact for members, proactively solving any issues that arise
· Contributing to the development and production of reports and other working group outputs
· Lead meetings when required
Events programming
Support successful management and delivery of events by:
· Input into a programme of events, working across BEI membership and external stakeholders, including governments, funding organisations and others
· Research and create individual events and themed event series, taking them from idea through to developed concept
· Support the events management team in planning and staging events, helping to ensure they are delivered to the highest standards
· Coordinate with events and comms team to ensure events are effectively promoted, both before and after the event, working to agreed key metrics
· Write up notes and other content post-event, where required
Other
· This role works in close collaboration with the Programme Director, and the incumbent will need to be able to stay on top of a busy calendar of events and meetings, taking multiple time zones into account
KEY SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS
Essential:
· Account or relationship management experience
· Customer service mindset
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Excellent spoken and written English
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to manage and direct own work
Desired:
· 3-5 years’ work experience
· Diary management experience across multiple time zones
· Writing experience, including but not limited to, social media, blogs or reports
· Expertise/interest in some of the following: Climate Mitigation and Adaptation, Environmental Conservation and Biodiversity, International Development and Humanitarian Aid, Infrastructure and the Built Environment

Pay: £33,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
