A flexible part-time role, during school hours will be considered.

Our well-regarded Residential Property team is expanding! This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking for a flexible part-time role in Residential Conveyancing. This job involves providing secretarial and administrative support to our highly-rated team of Residential Property experts, working alongside enthusiastic and driven administrative colleagues.

Salary – market rate dependent upon experience.

What would I be doing day-to-day?

  • Opening and preparing files to be worked on, then closing them when the case has finished.
  • Onboarding clients and completing any necessary due diligence checks
  • Audio and copy typing letters and other documents, as well as printing and photocopying
  • Handling and making telephone calls and taking messages as appropriate
  • Attending to clients when they have a query or need further assistance
  • Maintaining diaries and ensuring that the team is organised
  • Processing accounts procedures on conveyancing transactions
  • Dealing with the Land Registry, search providers and any other third parties. This includes the system and services that are used in the course of dealing with a matter
  • Completing Land Registry documentation and SDLT forms
  • Completion of registration

Our Residential Property team is well-regarded across Worcestershire and facilitated over 300 house moves in 2024.

There are truly some fantastic members of our growing team. For example, Liz Stirk (Head of Residential Property) was nominated as the Worcestershire Law Society’s Legal Executive of the Year 2024. Recently we have taken on new fee earning and support staff to enhance the level of service that we can provide to our clients. Many of our team members are also undertaking qualifications ranging from Paralegal courses to CILEX.

Our Residential Property team is driven and enthusiastic, with an often busy but fulfilling workload that is shared amongst its members. The team prides itself on being collaborative, providing support for one another and being able to answer questions on any of the many matters that they are handling.
