An exciting opening has become available to join our restaurant team at our beautiful coastal hotel in Thorpe Bay, Essex.

The Roslin Beach Hotel is an AA 4 Silver Star hotel with a multi award-winning Two AA Rosette Restaurant that is recognised across the country. This thriving hotel is proudly located on Thorpe Esplanade with panoramic views of the beautiful Estuary in each of our dining rooms.

About the role:

This is a highly guest-facing and hands-on role where you will be a key support to the front-of-house team. You’ll oversee the smooth and welcoming arrival and departure of guests, manage reservations, seating plans, and assist with general duties as required. Most importantly, you are there to see beyond the obvious and ensure every guest, near or far, is personally attended to—creating an exceptional first and last impression throughout their visit.

What we would like from you:

• A natural elegance and passion for providing a luxury level service that is personalised, confident and calm
• A background in a similar role, ideally gained within luxury 4- or 5-star hotel or other high-end restaurant
• Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to build strong working relationships and connect with guests visiting us
• Naturally your grooming and personal presentation will be immaculate
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekend shifts is essential
• Working knowledge of systems such as ResDiary, Open Table and Rezlynx is highly desirable
• To demonstrate a pro-active approach in carrying out day-to-day duties and problem-solving with excellent organisational skills
