About you:

As a Restaurant Supervisor you will be in charge of supervising floor operations ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant and working with your colleagues on providing exceptional services to our guests. You will be an excellent and confident communicator with people skills and problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic, welcoming and genuine. Informed by the authenticity of our brand and the passion we feel for our guests representing the warmth of the Greek islands and its hospitality.

You will be joining an equally passionate, fun and talented team dedicated to curating original guest experiences in an authentic, attentive and courteous manner. Meraki describes something done with soul, creativity and love, values that we are seeking in a new team member to take our guests on an immersive journey to the Greek islands through exceptional food, innovative drinks and unique sense of hospitality.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will ensure that the highest standards of service are delivered by overseeing daily operation of our restaurant, delegating tasks to the relevant team members as well as supporting training and coaching. Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Lead, motivate and guide restaurant team members to provide outstanding and memorable dining experience to our guest.
  • To oversee the daily floor operation, allocate duties and responsibilities efficiently ensuring seamless operations during service.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
  • To ensure that all team members are knowledgeable about the menu and that coaching is provided to your team.
  • Monitor staff performance, offering constructive feedback, coaching, and support as necessary.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the restaurant.
  • Support inventory management, oversee stock control, and handle supply orders as necessary.
  • To be responsible for the end of the day report and the cashing up in absence of the Restaurant Manager.- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following health and safety regulations.

We are seeking for an individual who has previous supervisory experience in the food and beverage industry. Other skills which will need to be demonstrated include:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage service standards and practices.
  • Confident, professional, and welcoming personality.
  • Flexibility to work throughout the week including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires previous experience in restaurant management or a related field. A degree in hospitality management or a culinary arts certification is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
