Join Our Client's Fantastic Care & Education Team as a Safeguarding Lead!
Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are recruiting for a dynamic and fast-growing company that is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their team as a Safeguarding Lead.
About the Role
Our Client are looking for a Designated Safeguarding Lead to join their leadership team overseeing safeguarding matters both on-site and off-site.
As the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), you will handle safeguarding referrals through our system, My Concern, and follow established processes and policies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents and students.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- DSL training level 3 or above, with experience as a DSL.
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or working with children/young people (desirable).
- Proven ability to deliver creative, structured pastoral interventions in special needs environments.
- Leadership experience in residential care settings.
- Strong communication skills across various audiences and external agencies.
- Experience managing complex scenarios, conflict resolution, and implementing effective behavior strategies.
- Knowledge of ASD support strategies (e.g., TEACCH, Attention Autism).
- Familiarity with OFSTED and CQC inspections, including action planning.
