AM Services Group are looking for an efficient, self-motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Security Supervisor for one our prestigious client sites in Stallingborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategy, direction and day to day management of the site security team to ensure a safe and secure environment is achieved.

Starting with the team in April 2020, working Monday to Friday from 07:00 - 17:00.

Essential Experience

  • A valid front-line SIA Licence is essential for the role examples are Door Supervisor, Security Guarding or Close Protection
  • A valid SIA CCTV Licence is essential
  • Full UK drivers licence with access to your own vehicle would also be essential to this role.

The Role

  • To develop and maintain the operation of the security team, deploy and manage available resources to ensure a safe and secure environment is achieved.
  • To develop and maintain the management of information systems to include planned coverage, staffing rotas and projections, reporting and recording systems to all retrieval of information as required.
  • To ensure the highest standards are maintained at all times. To proactively resolve customer queries. To ensure there is a regular cycle of quality communication with the client and other stakeholders.
  • To strategically manage, audit, review and make recommendations on resource allocation and planning having regard to all available information.
  • To ensure corporate, client and departmental health and safety, environmental, security, risk and data protection policies and procedures are implemented at all times and to raise any concerns regarding their operation or any other health and safety and security matters with the Client and Key Account Manager.
  • To periodically review and amend as necessary any code of practice or operational procedures having regard for best practice, service delivery and statutory requirements.
  • To recruit, manage, develop and motivate all team members ensuring their compliance with the duties and demands placed upon them to include high standards of personal appearance and service delivery.
  • To direct training and briefing of new team members and others to maintain and enhance high standards needed.
  • To use a range of communication methods to keep the team informed and motivated.
  • To ensure adherence to all equal opportunities and customer care policies in relation to staff, contractors and visitors and to manage the practices and implementation of these practices.
  • To ensure staff discipline, grievance and performance appraisals are conducted in line with company policies, standards and procedures.
  • To ensure the Client and AM Services Group Management are informed of all matters those are of interest or concern at the earliest opportunity.
  • To develop and maintain good working relationships with applicable local agencies and services, including police and intelligence forums etc.
  • To maintain a climate of teamwork and common purpose within the wide on-site team.
  • To understand the client’s business culture and objectives, to absorb all changes to this and ensure the service is continually delivered to meet the client’s needs.
  • To keep abreast of the latest available technology and to make recommendations on the introduction of any suitable equipment.
  • Management of contract supplies to include where requires re-specify arrangements so as to optimize the cost of quality service.
  • To provide monthly analysis of all security related incidents and information.
  • To maintain a holistic approach to work ensuring value added service and delivered to the client and contract.
  • Maintain up to date job descriptions, training matrixes and appraisals for all roles within the contract.
  • To conduct regular audits on the sites security provision onsite.
  • Any other reasonable request from the management or client.
