Full job description

The Goodwood Season is fast approaching, we are looking for Security Officers to work with us at the various events in the Goodwood Calendar including Members Meeting, Festival of Speed, Revival and the Racecourse fixtures.

Your day as a Security officer will involve:

· Meeting, greeting, assisting and directing people attending the event

· Patrolling different areas across the venue as part of the response team

· Working also during build-up and breakdown of the shows

· Access control of some private areas; including checking the correct passes

· Delivering uplifting customer service

To qualify you must:

· Have the right to work in the UK

· Have a check-able 5-year personal history including education, employment, travel and/or unemployment

· Be confident in following procedures, rules and instructions

· Hold an SIA licence

· Be able drive to and from site, public transport is not reliably available

· Be fluent in English

· Be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing

· Hold good customer service skills

Your role may also include, queue management, access support, maintaining barrier lines, safety and being a friendly and welcoming representative of the event.

Full briefings and training will be provided.

You will also get the chance to work at events in Brighton (East Sussex), as well as opportunities to travel with us on our away events where accommodation is provided.
