Join Our Client's Team as an SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Meldreth, Nr Royston (Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border)
Salary: £11.72 - £12.78 per hour (£20,941.63 - £22,834.95 actual salary), based on experience and qualifications.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Term-time only!).

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support students aged 6–19 with profound and complex needs, including autism, ADHD, and sensory or physical impairments. This role involves working within an inclusive, well-resourced environment to empower students to manage sensory overload, anxiety, and transitions while achieving their personal and educational goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support students’ learning, development, and progress in the classroom, local environment, and community settings.
  • Assist young people with needs such as PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism to reach their goals.
  • Promote equality, diversity, and respect while supporting an empowering learning environment.
  • Engage in physical intervention and personal care routines as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively within a specialist team to create meaningful educational outcomes.

  • Educated to at least Level 2 (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
