Join Our Team as a SEN Teaching Assistant!
Location: Cranborne, Wimborne
Salary: Up to £17.78 per hour
Hours: Full-time

Your Role as a Teaching Assistant
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key part in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment. From one-on-one academic and vocational support in areas like Bushcraft, animal care, and life skills to being a positive role model, your contributions will be invaluable to the success of our young people.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teaching staff to support learning and provide extra explanations where needed.
- Support young people in meeting their individual Education and Healthcare Plan targets.
- Promote positive behavior and adapt your approach to meet the needs of each student.
- Ensure health and safety and safeguarding protocols are followed at all times.
- Encourage social interactions and group activities that build friendships and confidence
What We’re Looking For:
You don’t need prior experience—what matters most is your passion and ability to build trusted relationships with young people.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- A desire to put young people first, treating them as individuals.
- Creativity, patience, and positivity in meeting the needs of students.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above (or equivalent) are a bonus!
