Join Our Team as a SEN Teaching Assistant!
Location: Cranborne, Wimborne
Salary: Up to £17.78 per hour
Hours: Full-time

Your Role as a Teaching Assistant
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key part in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment. From one-on-one academic and vocational support in areas like Bushcraft, animal care, and life skills to being a positive role model, your contributions will be invaluable to the success of our young people.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with teaching staff to support learning and provide extra explanations where needed.
Support young people in meeting their individual Education and Healthcare Plan targets.
Promote positive behavior and adapt your approach to meet the needs of each student.
Ensure health and safety and safeguarding protocols are followed at all times.
Encourage social interactions and group activities that build friendships and confidence

What We’re Looking For:
You don’t need prior experience—what matters most is your passion and ability to build trusted relationships with young people.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

A desire to put young people first, treating them as individuals.
Creativity, patience, and positivity in meeting the needs of students.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above (or equivalent) are a bonus!
