We are dynamic, fun, and inovative team. We are a full-service marketing agency that uses our 25 years experience mixed with our unique proprietary engagement software to target audiences and drive results.

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our fun, fast paced, retail marketing environment at Velocity Worldwide. You will be specifically responsible for overseeing 2- 3 of our key shopping centre sites, working on delivering their annual marketing strategies to shoppers. This would mean you would be responsible for their social and digital channels, managing tenant liaison and relationships onsite, retailer support and helping run and deliver certain events and projects within budgets at the below schemes with the help of an Account Manager.

Sites will be:

  • Based in Birmingham and Cambridge and require 2-3 days travel a week.
  • Other days would be remote working from home (apart from our quarterly team days). Expenses are paid for travel to all sites apart from your primary site – which would be agreed on acceptance of role.

You must be able to do the following:

  • Be able to devise, plan and implement strategic campaigns, events and advertising that drives shopper engagement, footfall & spend.
  • Ensure that budgets, margin, and profitability are maintained and managed where applicable on certain projects.
  • Create and implement strong event ideas / concepts or campaigns that drive, engage and increase shoppers and sales to the sites.
  • Produce and publish high-quality content for the Shopping Centre’s inbound marketing channels (website, FB, Tik Tok, X, Instagram). These must be regularly sense checked and communicated to with clients to champion the work that is done.
  • Co-ordinate and facilitate promotional events and entertainment activities within the shopping centres with the ultimate goal of attracting new customers, promoting brand loyalty, creating theatre at the centre and driving retail sales.
  • Lead on initiatives involving community groups, local authorities, media partners and surrounding third parties.
  • Work with retailers at site and head office level to ensure relevance and value in all marketing events and campaigns and assist in obtaining monthly sales figures and retailer trading comments.
  • Co-operate with all head office project management administration around project activity reports etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
