Full job description
As a Service Administrator you will provide administrative support and administer the office functions including raising purchase orders, raising contracts, compliance and office operations. You will also be willing to pitch in with a variety of tasks linked to your job to support your manager, your team, and our clients.
Your key tasks will include:
- The initial contact for all subcontractor jobs, actively pursuing updates and confirmation dates through telephone calls and emails. Maintaining a record of all details in a spreadsheet and the internal system.
- Updating internal system with job progression and completion data for jobs.
- Managing all department PPM works. Planning these jobs with the client and dealing with compliance certificates.
- Generating purchase orders and contracts.
- Answer incoming calls to the business/helpdesk and action accordingly.
- Aiding in the upkeep of the office email inbox, which includes logging jobs and quotation requests as necessary.
- Assisting in office procedures and functions.
- Generating client invoices up to the value of 1k.
Our ideal candidate will need to have:
- Experience within a similar capacity.
- Attention to detail and works accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates a strong drive to accomplish tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Great planning and organisation skills.
- Able to prioritise and ensure tasks are done efficiently.
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Candidates should have suitable experience working in a commercial environment with excellent communication skills and a high level of competency with various IT systems.
Your salary will be £25,000 - £26,000 per annum. D.O.E.
Your hours of work will be 8am - 5pm and you will work as part of the service delivery team at our offices in Fareham.
