This part-time role reports to the Marketing & Events Manager. You will be supporting the marketing activities of Flourish with a focus on social media planning and posting, responding to customer enquiries via email and messages as well as monitoring and replying to reviews for both Flourish sites. Your main responsibility will be creating vibrant and varied content for our Instagram, Facebook and TikTok pages showcasing the people behind Flourish and bringing new customers in. There will be opportunities to support with event planning and assisting with events occasionally.
You will have a passion for great seasonal local food and gifts/homeware. Excellent written communication skills are essential, ensuring everything sticks to the Flourish brand guidelines and the ability to adapt copy for different platforms. You will have a good eye for photography and videography and a positive friendly attitude. We want you to be excited about what we do! A willingness to learn and a keen eye for detail will be critical to your success in this role.
Experience of social media and some basic photography knowledge (usually done by phone) would be preferred but full training will be provided.
Hours are flexible, usually 24 hours per week Monday – Friday with the opportunity to increase this to 30. Some weekend availability (particularly during events) would be preferred.
You will be based in Saltford, situated on the A4 between Bath and Bristol, so please ensure you can travel here before you apply. You will be required to travel to our site in Norton St Philip on occasion, petrol will be paid at the standard rate for the distance between our Saltford and Norton St Philip sites.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
