Sous Chef – Award Wining Luxury Hotel in rural Shropshire

£40,000,plus tips,compnay benefits,pension,parking,training,support to relocate

This is an fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join one of the regions best hotels in great location close to the nearest market town.

The hotel has an award winning fine dining restaurant as well as catering for up to 150 guests in their largest event space as well as other meeting rooms and a leisure and spa facility offering a casual dining experience.

The company are looking for an individual with the experience of working in similar style of operations which includes,

Proven experience in kitchens at rosette level as well as knowledge of events,banquets and weddings
Brings genuine creativity and passion
Has strong leadership skills and a calm, positive presence in the kitchen
Wants to be part of a collaborative team with serious culinary ambition

Also you will be working with and supporting the Head Chef in the day to day management of the kitchen and covering days off and holidays.

Duties will include managing all health and safety and food hygiene standards,manage the costs controls and stocks as well as ordering of food as required.

Working with the Head Chef to achieve the required food GP and training and supporting the junior team members and involved in developing and creating new dishes and menus through the year in line with seasonal menu's.
