We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Manager to join our team. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and managing our team of volunteers who provide signposting and support navigation to Foodbank clients, along with providing direct support and guidance. If you have a passion for working in the local community and making a real difference by helping people to avoid food insecurity, this role is for you.
This role will lead in the identification and addressing of the issues underlying food insecurity. You will develop and implement initiatives to support those in need and to prevent them from experiencing food insecurity again.
Cirencester Foodbank is part of a multi-agency support team who help people in crisis by referring them to additional support services within the Cotswold District and nationally. The role is responsible for developing and leading the team of staff and volunteers who provide the onward referral to agencies.
You will lead on the development and use of internal case management systems to track our client journeys, capture outcomes and impact, and report on outcomes of the services provided.
The role is responsible for the delivery of in-house projects providing income maximisation and wraparound support for clients. Project delivery includes managing and reporting on project progress internally and to dedicated funders.
You will work with our referral partners to ensure those referred to the foodbank are provided with some form of advice or a referral to appropriate assistance prior to their foodbank referral to address the core issues they are facing.
You will support the foodbank management team in understanding if additional initiatives for financial inclusion is necessary, achievable and should become part of the Foodbanks offer.
