JOB DESCRIPTION
Post: Young Persons Support Worker
Responsible to: Operations Manager – Supported Lodgings
Are you looking for a fulfilling, rewarding role where two days are never the same? Would you like to help young people progress in their lives? Then 3 Bridge Solution Supported Lodgings may be for you. We are an ambitious, growing organisation providing a Supported Lodgings service for Care Leavers and Young People facing homelessness across Surrey, Sussex, Greater London and beyond.
Our small friendly team operates a hybrid, flexible way of working, tailored to the needs of our young people and Hosts as well as ensuring a positive work / life balance for staff. Our Head Office is in Three bridges, Crawley, however our accommodation is spread throughout the Southeast, therefore a high degree of flexibility, ability to work on your own initiative, a driving licence and access to a car for daily use is essential.
Prior Support Worker experience with Care Leavers and vulnerable young people is desirable; however, we also welcome applications from anyone with demonstrable transferable experience; of greater importance to us, is that you demonstrate a positive outlook, flexible approach, natural empathy, compassion, and resilience.
We offer our Support Workers a competitive salary, as well as 25 days annual leave and all Bank Holidays, flexible hours, remote / home working, pension scheme and sick pay.
As our organisation grows, we are keen to 'develop our own' future leaders and managers; we are committed to personal and professional development and potential promotion opportunities for the right candidate.
If you feel you can add something to our experienced, committed team, we would love to hear from you.
Payment Pro rata £23,500 - £28,800 per annum dependent upon experience.
