Job Title: Invigilator / Qualifications Administrator

Reports to: Team Leader / Qualifications Manager

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Wales

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours p/w

Salary: £22,255 per annum

Purpose of Job / Company Values

To ensure that tests are conducted according to the current awarding body regulations, JCQ ICE requirements and Educ8 Policies. To ensure all learners have a fair and equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and protect the integrity and security of the test process. To be able to conduct the testing process for the business needs for the contract allocation across Wales

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

· To keep online examination materials and passwords secure at all times

· To ensure test environment are set out to standard and check identification

· To ensure laptops/computers are ready to access online test papers

· To deal with emergencies or irregularities effectively

· To record/report any irregularities effectively

· To fully complete attendance registers

· To deal with learner queries

· Invigilators must not carry out any other task (for example, reading a book or marking) in the test room

· To fully complete invigilation paperwork

· To cross reference checks for all tests booked

· To carry out testing audits monthly

· Prepare all paperwork prior to testing

· Manage and communicate with all departments for testing enquiries

Essential Criteria

· Excellent organisational skills

· A flexible approach to work

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to work on own initiative and problem-solve

· Being able to travel and have own transport

· Excellent communication skills

Desirable Criteria

· Previous experience of invigilation

· Previous experience of working in an educational establishment

· Welsh language skills
