Oxborrow Engineering Ltd is a well-established steel fabrication company located in Clacton on Sea. With a dedicated team, we specialize in producing and fitting high-quality fabricated steel structures and bespoke products for businesses across Essex and neighboring counties.
Summary
We are seeking a Trainee or Junior Fabricator/Welder to join our team at Oxborrow Engineering. In this role, you will be trained and supervised for helping in assembling, fabricating, and welding steel components to create robust structures that meet our clients' specifications.
Responsibilities
- Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various fabrication tasks.
- Cutting, grinding, drilling and other steel fabrication tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Shadowing senior members of staff, learning and performing relevant given tasks in a speedy and high quality manner afterwards.
Requirements
- Be 18 or above
- Be eligible to live and work in the UK
- Have a driving license or be in the process of acquiring one.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred but not essential.
- College degree and relevant work experience is not a must but is desirable.
