As we continue to expand, we are excited to announce the creation of a new team. As part of this growth, we are looking for a Transport Performance Supervisor to join our dynamic workforce and contribute to the ongoing success of our transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

Driver Daily Performance Monitoring – Oversee driver performance, including adherence to workload schedules, fuel efficiency, safety standards, and overall conduct. Address any performance issues and provide feedback to improve efficiency.
Payroll Auditing – Ensure payroll accuracy by monitoring driver working hours, overtime, and allowances in line with activities undertaken. Conduct routine audits to verify compliance and identify discrepancies.
Route Planning – Assisting the transport planners in the optimisation of delivery routes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely deliveries. Use route planning software and liaise with drivers to implement changes where necessary.
Supporting and Deputising the Transport Performance Manager – Act as a key support to the Transport Performance Manager, taking responsibility for operational decision-making in their absence. Provide leadership and ensure a smooth workflow within the transport performance department.

What We Are Looking For

Experience in transport operations or a similar supervisory role within logistics, haulage, or distribution.
Strong analytical skills with experience in auditing and compliance monitoring.
Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify and address inefficiencies in transport operations.
Proficiency in route planning software and an understanding of best practices for optimising transport schedules.
A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in payroll and compliance auditing.
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage drivers and liaise with other departments effectively.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
