Veneerer / Veneer Preparer – Full Time Permanent – Brentwood, Essex

Read Veneers Ltd is a highly regarded family-run company with a history in the veneering trade spanning more than two decades.

Located in Brentwood, the company has attained FSC® certification and specialises in producing architectural veneers for a wide range of commercial and domestic uses. Commercial works can be seen in establishments such as the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the O2 London, Cambridge University and the London office of Total Gas & Power.

We are seeking an experienced veneer preparer to join our Brentwood based team on a full time permanent basis.

You will have provable veneer preparation experience together with a keen eye for detail and excellent working knowledge of health and safety procedures.

You’ll also be able to demonstrate a positive approach to work and good time-keeping and reliability.

Regular duties to include:

• Setting out work
• Inspecting drawings
• Veneer cutting
• Veneer preparation
• Veneer stitching
• Veneer pressing

Pay: £11.50-£17.25 per hour
