Full job description

We will be offering the post to a person who is able to demonstrate they have skills or experience in working with, supervising,the and supporting volunteers or groups of people in local community and working with a voluntary organisation. They will have an awareness of the National Outcome Framework for Volunteering. They will have awareness of the public and voluntary sectors and experience in training groups of people will be desirable. Ideally, they will have good knowledge of the community of North Perth City and of the issues that affect the people living there. They will have good IT and social media skills.

Essential Job Functions:

· Managing the recruitment process for all volunteers

· Promoting volunteering through recruitment and publicity strategies and campaigns

· Maintaining the volunteer database and volunteer administration

· Work with other Letham4All Staff to generate appropriate volunteering opportunities and role descriptions based on the needs of Letham4All and community-based projects.

· Work with other Letham4All staff to identify, develop and arrange volunteer training events

· Monitor, support, and motivative volunteers and their work

· Celebrating volunteering by nominating volunteers for awards and organising celebration events

· Attending relevant meetings
