About the Company
Would you like to be responsible for the Warehouse operations for the world’s leading manufacturer of high-end audio products here at PMC?
Our products are sold globally through a network of distributors, and you will find PMC products in the leading recording studios and homes of music artists worldwide. PMC clients include such luminaries as Stevie Wonder, Calvin Harris, Kraftwerk, Elbow and many more. Corporate clients include the BBC, Apple, Google, Capitol Studios LA and Metropolis London to name but a few. In addition, PMC distributes several complimentary audio brands in the UK that are sold via specialist audio retailers.
Purpose of the Role
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for goods in, storage and distribution of our loudspeakers in the UK and overseas. Also, for managing efficiency and effectiveness of all reporting staff and implementing all Company policies and procedures.

The role of the Warehouse Manager is a very hands-on role which will include:
Stock Management
- Monitor and maintain stock accuracy through daily, weekly, monthly and yearly stock takes and accuracies on our IT system.
- Review of obsolete and slow-moving stock items and support review and management of these parts.
- Ensure delivered parts are booked onto the system within 24 hours.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure stock has all the necessary paperwork to be processed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Specifically manage and execute an annual stock take of all PMC stock within the business and successfully report and update stock records accordingly.
- Manage the location of stock through our sage system (soon moving to SAP) and ensure that all stock is stored in the correct locations
- Communicate and work with the Health & Safety coordinator and operations director to ensure any premises health & safety issues are resolved in a timely manner
Production
- Supporting production through picking of raw materials to be delivered on time and in full
- Processing of works orders completed by production and monitoring and maintaining this process.
- Manage the finished good process for UK and Export of goods worldwide.
- Being part of a process of continuous improvement, to ensure the highest levels of customer service are being adhered to both internally and externally.
- Ensure that all staff are trained on the goods in processes and procedures.
- Producing regular reports, attend management meetings, hold regular meetings with operational team to identify areas for improvements.
Staff Management
- Ensure all staff maintain and use equipment to the highest standards.
- Recruit, induct, coach, train and develop warehouse operatives to meet the standards required to perform their duties
- Manage day to day staff operations implementing rota’s, team briefs, monitor and managing performance, carrying out probationary reviews, annual appraisals, coaching and giving feedback on a regular basis on performance.
- Train employees on IT system, implementing best practice through ensuring the internal communication is maintained within the team and across departments.
- Implement all health and safety, hygiene, security and company policies and procedures to the highest standard.
Requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in Warehouse Management
- Knowledge of H&S regulations
- Able to easily commute to the office in Luton daily (you will be expected to work at our Sandy warehouse at least 1 day per week)
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Experience using SAGE50 and SAP would be preferred
- Driving License & business insurance
- Forklift driving license
The Warehouse Manager will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
