Full job description

The Great British Card Company (GBCC) is one of the UK’s largest independent card publishers supplying customers including large UK supermarkets, high street specialists, garden centres and post offices both in the UK and via distributors overseas. Publishing and selling 20 million cards across everyday and seasonal such as Christmas and Mother’s Day. In addition, we supply gift wrap, gift packaging and gift stationery. Operating out of our modern facilities near Gloucester we strive to make sure that we continue to have the best product assortment for our discerning customers.

We have an openings in our warehouse for an experienced operatives and picker packers, a fork lift truck (counter balance) license would be beneficial but not required.

These roles will work as a team and cover both goods in (stock delivery, customer returns and non-stock delivery) and goods out (customer orders) in a FMCG environment.

Duties will include setting up and replenishment of pick and pack areas, sorting customer returns and non-stock deliveries and shipments, rework, stocktaking and order picking. There is also responsibility to ensure that the whole warehouse area is kept clean, tidy and safe for all who work here.

We are currently offering full time contracts working 37.5 hours a week (with potential availability of overtime) Monday to Friday, but additionally can offer zero hours/casual contracts for seasonal work if that would be your preference.
