The warehouse plays a vital role in offering our clients the best experience by holding and keeping track of stock, receiving and dispatching orders, and generally ensuring our customers receive top quality products safely and on time.

Job Description

Origin Fitness are looking for a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to develop the expanding team in our Newbridge facility.

We are seeking someone who can develop the leadership skills in our senior warehouse operatives, inspire a culture of continuous improvement and maintain standards to meet our ISO accreditation.

Responsibilities

• On a day to day basis you would be expected to control the workload of the team both individually and collectively
• Manage staffing levels including any requirements for temp staff and control HR on shift.
• Training of new colleagues in line with the development of the formal induction program.
• Conduct daily team meetings
• Planning the workload ahead and liaise with the Orders and Supply Chain teams to plan the workload as efficiently as possible.
• Checking orders prior to despatch.
• Checking banding and pallet wrapping is to Company standard.
• Safety & Compliance – ensuring adherence to Health & Safety regulations

Essential - Skills and Experience

• Previous experience of supervising senior warehouse operatives as well as warehouse operatives.
• Experience of Inventory Management – understanding stock control, order fulfilment and inventory systems
• Logistics knowledge – familiarity with shipping, receiving and distribution process
• Working experience of an ERP system.
• A strong and confident attitude and a proven track record of leading a team forward to achieve results.
• Excellent communication skills – being able to handle disputes and encouraging a positive working environment
• Good time management skills
• Excellent Attention to detail
• Ability to problem solve

Desirable - Skills and Experience

• Good people management skills.
• Operating in a 5S’s environment and having a continuous improvement mindset.
• Full UK driving licence
• Counterbalance/ Reach truck licence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
