Job Title: Experienced Water Hygiene Technician

Location: Cheshire/ Liverpool/ Manchester

We are looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join our growing business here at Dakro Air & Water. Our Head Office is based in Birmingham, and this offers a good base for our water hygiene work that takes place all around the UK.

Salary Range: £25,000 – £28,000pa +overtime opportunities - dependent upon skills and experience

Role Description:

We require an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer with a good level of knowledge of Legionella control and experience in the water hygiene industry, with good self-initiative and the ability to work well within a team or on their own, efficient time management, flexible hours for possible night or weekend shifts.

Tasks that you may encounter: CWST Cleaning, Calorifier Disinfections, taking water samples, taking temperatures, Servicing and Operational Testing of TMV’s, cleaning and disinfection of showerheads, project work.

Training both internal and external will be provided throughout your career here at Dakro.

The role means you will be provided with a company phone, basic tools, company van, uniform and PPE.

A DBS Check will be requested for all successful applicants due to the nature of our client base.

Skills Required:

Good knowledge on Legionella Control
Previous water industry experience
Knowledge and experience with tools that will be needed on site
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
Plumbing Skills (Not essential but preferred)

Other Requirements:

Requires clean Driving license
Requires experience in the water industry
Requires City & Guilds Accredited Water Hygiene/ Treatment Qualification
Required to hold a CSCS Card (labourer Card Minimum)
Basic knowledge of IT and smartphone use is essential (training provided
Cooling tower experience is preferred (But not essential)
Experience with Acid Descales is preferred (But not essential)
