Joiners – Shopfitting Projects (Glasgow Start | Work Across Scotland)

Start Date: January
Employment Type: Ongoing project work with long hours available
Location: Initial project in Glasgow, with the opportunity to move onto additional shopfitting jobs across Scotland as projects progress.

We are currently recruiting a team of shopfitting joiners to support a busy programme of retail and commercial fit-out projects. This role is ideal for joiners looking to gain more experience in fast-paced shopfitting environments while securing consistent hours and reliable ongoing work.

What the Role Involves:

  • Working as part of a professional shopfitting team on various retail and commercial fit-outs
  • Completing high-quality joinery tasks including stud walls, partitions, finishing works, and general fit-out duties
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment, complying with site rules and health & safety procedures
  • Flexibility to move between sites as projects progress across Scotland

Hours & Shifts:

  • 12-hour day shifts as standard
  • Overtime opportunities available, including night shifts and weekend work
  • Consistent, long-term work for the right candidates

Rates & Benefits:

  • £22.00 per hour (day shift)
  • £27.50 per hour (overtime)
  • Digs/Accommodation paid if required
  • Paid weekly (if relevant to your setup – can be removed if not needed)

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS card – essential
  • Driving licence preferred, but not essential for candidates based in the Glasgow area
  • Previous shopfitting experience preferred, but strong joinery skills with a willingness to learn shopfitting methods will also be considered
  • Ability to work long shifts and overtime when required
  • Good communication and reliability

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
