The Company & Role

They're now looking for an Accounts Senior / Client Manager to join their team – a role that comes with a broad scope of responsibilities, client interaction, and the ability to shape your career in the direction you want.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own portfolio of clients, working closely with partners
  • Review and prepare statutory accounts, including more complex accounts, for a portfolio of clients
  • Oversee and review work completed by juniors and semi seniors – bookkeeping, VAT returns, and accounts
  • Provide technical advice to clients, answering queries and offering proactive support
  • Prepare/review management accounts and corporate tax returns
  • Option to expand into audit, personal tax, or other areas depending on your interest
  • Mentor and train junior staff, playing an important part in team development

Requirements:

  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA) or QBE with strong practice experience
  • Solid knowledge of statutory accounts, VAT, and tax
  • A natural communicator who builds relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A team player with a client-focused approach and attention to detail
