About GoodGrade
GoodGrade is a new and growing online tutoring company supporting students from Year 3 to Year 13 through personalised one-to-one lessons delivered by QTS and DBS-verified tutors.
We are at an early stage and focused on building a clear, trustworthy brand presence online. We’re looking for someone who is excited to help shape that presence from the ground up and grow with the company over time.
The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator & Strategist to take ownership of GoodGrade’s social media presence across Instagram, Threads, X (Twitter), and Facebook.
You will be the face and voice of our social channels, responsible for ideation, content creation, planning, and execution. This role is about building brand clarity and trust so that when parents discover GoodGrade online, they immediately understand who we are, what we offer, and the value we provide.
This is a self-employed, fully remote, results-based role with no fixed hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and create content across Instagram, Threads, X, and Facebook
- Develop monthly content ideas and simple content plans
- Appear on camera where appropriate to represent the brand
- Research trends and conversations relevant to education, parenting, and tutoring
- Stay up to date with the education sector and translate insights into content
- Ensure brand messaging is clear, consistent, and parent-friendly
- Monitor engagement and share performance insights during weekly check-ins
- Proactively suggest ideas to improve reach, clarity, and engagement
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable creating and appearing in short-form video content
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
- Ability to communicate clearly and simply
- Interest in education, learning, or helping young people succeed
- Self-starter mindset with strong ownership
- Willingness to grow with an early-stage company
You do not need to be UK-based. This is a fully remote role.
Working Style
- No set hours — outcomes matter more than time spent
- Weekly or bi-weekly check-ins to review progress and plan ahead
- Creative freedom with clear direction and support
- Opportunity to grow responsibility as the company scales
Compensation
- £200 per month (starting retainer)
- Self-employed basis
- 30-day trial period
- Compensation and responsibility will increase as GoodGrade grows and results are achieved
This role is best suited to someone who enjoys early-stage brand building and values long-term growth over short-term pay.
Why Join GoodGrade
- Be part of building a brand from the very beginning
- Have real ownership and creative input
- Grow alongside the company as it scales
- Shape how parents understand and trust GoodGrade
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: £200.00 per month
Benefits:
- Work from home
Work Location: Remote
