Electrical Design Engineer - Dungannon - Excellent Package

We are working with a leading manufacturer in Northern Ireland who are seeking their newest Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will take responsibility for designing, developing, and testing electrical schematics for our cutting-edge products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality electrical systems, while also contributing to developing new product innovations. This role also provides the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including work instructions, parts lists, and maintenance manuals.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers while providing technical support to the wider team.
  • Research and develop new product designs, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
  • Design and implement electrical testing procedures to validate product performance and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).

What we are looking for...

  • HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design engineering.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and EPLAN.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical design standards, regulations, and testing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
