Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Creative Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in workspace interior design and building strong client relationships, with the ability to develop innovative visual concepts across various platforms. The Senior Creative Designer will be responsible for collaborating with our clients to bring their vision to life, developing high impactful designs, and presenting spaces to inspire their teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as client facing design lead, playing a key role in winning new business by inspiring with creative, commercial, and innovative design solutions.
  • Develop design concepts aligned to client briefs, budgets, and project goals.
  • Produce full design and drawing packs, including specifications, visuals, and material selections.
  • Lead client pitches and presentations in competitive settings.
  • Oversee the design delivery timeline, working closely with Project Managers to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Carry out site visits to confirm that design specifications are implemented correctly.
  • Mentor and support junior and other designers, helping to grow team capability.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, reps, and manufacturers, influencing buying power.
  • Organise or participate in design focused industry events that benefit the wider team.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met with consistency and attention to detail.
  • Support the company’s culture, team engagement initiatives, and growth plans.
  • Deliver clear, confident communication to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Present quotations and proposals in a professional and client friendly manner.
  • Contribute to the ongoing success of the business through thoughtful design strategies.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Interior Design Degree or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe and Microsoft Office required.
  • Proficiency with Enscape preferred.
  • Proven experience in commercial interior design, ideally within workplace or fit out environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating concept creation, space planning, materials knowledge, and technical drawing capability.
  • Solid understanding of project costings, margins, and value driven design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders at once.
  • In depth knowledge of products, finishes, and current industry trends.
  • Comfortable leading pitches, influencing decisions, and guiding clients through the full design journey.
  • Ability to mentor junior designers and support team growth.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Creative thinking with an eye for detail and colour accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Have drivers license and a vehicle to use to travel to site's is required.
