Location: Glasgow

Workshop Engineer About the Role

We’re hiring a skilled Workshop Engineer to maintain, repair, and diagnose faults on construction and plant machinery. This is a workshop based role in Glasgow, supported by a depot team, manufacturer-led training, and strong technical backup.

Workshop Engineer What You’ll Be Doing

  • Diagnostics, repair, and servicing of plant equipment
  • Attending breakdowns and performing fault-finding

  • Ordering parts accurately and keeping machines compliant
  • Mentoring apprentices or junior engineers (as required)

Workshop Engineer What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ level 3 in Plant, Vehicle, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, or heavy machinery
  • Competence in diagnostics and fault-finding
  • Good customer-facing skills and time management
  • Full UK Driving Licence
