Trainee Marketing Assistant (Promotional Sales)

Location: Glasgow | Full-Time | Immediate Start

Our client, a Glasgow-based sales and marketing company, is looking for enthusiastic, driven individuals to join their team as a Trainee Marketing Assistant. This is a genuine entry-level opportunity — no previous experience is required, as full training is provided from day one. Immediate starts are available for successful candidates.

You will represent well-known clients through face-to-face marketing campaigns, engaging directly with members of the public to raise awareness of products, services, and promotions and generate new business.

What You'll Do

  • Represent client brands through face-to-face marketing campaigns
  • Engage confidently with members of the public
  • Clearly explain products, services, and current promotions
  • Generate new customer sign-ups and enquiries
  • Work towards individual and team targets
  • Attend daily briefings, coaching sessions, and training
  • Track and report on your own performance

What We're Looking For

  • A confident, friendly personality who enjoys speaking with new people
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Comfortable working in a face-to-face, public-facing environment
  • Open to coaching and keen to learn
  • Applicants must be 18 or over (legal requirement for this role)
  • No experience necessary — previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is a bonus but not essential

Working Pattern
Full-time, in-person role based from our Glasgow office. Daily commute into Glasgow is required.
