Key Responsibilities
1. Systems & Data Capability Maintenance
Risk Monitoring Systems
- Maintain and optimise internal risk monitoring tools
- Build and maintain real-time risk monitoring systems (Exposure/PnL/Risk Metrics)
- Improve automation of risk analysis processes
Market & Trading Data Analysis
- Process and analyse tick-level market data
- Analyse order lifecycle data (order placement, execution, and closure)
- Identify abnormal trading activities and execution issues
Trading System Integration
- Integrate with Liquidity Providers (LPs), Prime Brokers, and execution platforms
- Integrate with systems via FIX / REST / WebSocket APIs
- Assist in troubleshooting trading and system-related issues
Data Infrastructure
- Build and maintain trading databases and storage systems
- Develop and manage market and trading data pipelines
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and system stability
Data Visualisation
- Develop and maintain risk monitoring dashboards
- Deliver data insights through web-based tools, BI platforms, or Excel
2. Trading Risk Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor trading exposure, PnL, and margin levels in real time
- Analyse client trading activity and identify abnormal order flow (e.g., arbitrage, toxic flow)
- Monitor and evaluate execution quality (spreads, latency, liquidity performance)
- Support hedging activities and risk management adjustments
- Produce daily trading reports and assist with client execution-related inquiries
Requirements
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates and career switchers are welcome (training provided)
- Bachelor’s degree or above in one of the following fields:
- Finance / Financial Engineering
- Computer Science
- Mathematics / Statistics
- Candidates with relevant industry experience are not restricted to the above majors
- Strong interest in financial markets and trading mechanisms, good logical thinking and learning ability
- Ability to operate in a real-time trading environment with continuous monitoring requirements
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Basic data analysis skills (e.g., Excel/SQL/Python)
- Familiarity with API technologies (FIX / REST / WebSocket preferred)
- Knowledge of FX, CFDs, commodities, equity indices, or cryptocurrencies
- Trading or simulated trading experience
- Experience with dashboards, data visualization, or data pipeline development
- Understanding of trade execution, liquidity, or order flow analysis
Language Requirements
- Chinese Mandarin (spoken level) and English
