About the Company

An award-winning technology business that develops digital learning solutions for organisations operating within the health, social care and public sectors.

Our platform helps organisations improve workforce capability through engaging online learning, immersive technologies and evidence-based content. Trusted by hundreds of organisations across the UK and internationally, they continue to grow rapidly and are recognised for delivering innovative solutions that create measurable social impact.

This is an opportunity to join a purpose-driven business with ambitious growth plans, where you’ll play a key role in expanding commercial partnerships and helping organisations improve outcomes for the people they support.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record of winning new business, developing strategic accounts and building long-term customer relationships.

You’ll be comfortable selling consultative technology solutions, managing the full customer journey from initial engagement through implementation and ongoing account growth.

This role would suit someone who enjoys combining new business development with customer success and strategic account management.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify, engage and win new business opportunities across target markets.
  • Build and develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and commercial presentations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close.
  • Create tailored onboarding plans to ensure successful customer adoption.
  • Support customers throughout implementation to maximise engagement and retention.
  • Deliver regular account reviews using performance data and usage insights.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through expansion and additional services.
  • Monitor market activity and competitor developments.
  • Resolve customer issues quickly while delivering an excellent client experience.
  • Produce accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates and KPI reporting.
  • Contribute ideas to commercial strategy, product positioning and go-to-market planning.
  • Support and mentor junior commercial team members where appropriate.

About You

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience selling SaaS, software, technology or digital solutions.
  • A strong background in consultative B2B sales.
  • A track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Experience managing complex sales pipelines.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing business.
  • Experience working independently with excellent organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for business development and helping customers succeed.
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring colleagues would be advantageous.
  • Experience selling into healthcare, education, charities, local government or the public sector would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Qualifications

  • BA/BSc degree
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce or similar.

Why Join?

  • Join a growing technology business making a genuine social impact.
  • Own the full commercial sales cycle and influence business growth.
  • Work remotely with flexible hybrid options.
  • Develop strategic customer partnerships rather than transactional sales.
  • Be part of a collaborative, ambitious and innovative team.
  • Excellent opportunity for career progression as the business continues to scale.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company pension
  • Work from home
