Hours: 36–40 hours per week, 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday, finishing early on Fridays.
Overtime available - Anything over 40 hours, time and a half pay. weekend shifts available
Position Summary:
Kenect Recruitment are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our Clients team as an Assembly & Machine Operator. The role involves hands-on work in assembling structural components—particularly pillars—and general assembly work, as well as operating machinery used in the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical assembly of pillars and other structural parts
- Conduct general assembly tasks following technical drawings and instructions
- Operate machines and production equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect components and finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/schematics
- Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
