Full job description
Creative Car Park (CCP) is a car park management service that helps small to medium land and site owners maximise the value, convenience, and security of their parking areas.
As a leading UK car park management company with over 25 years in the industry, CCP leads the way in the development of parking technology and was the first to use ANPR camera technology to manage and enforce car parking.
We believe that a car park isn’t just somewhere where people leave their car. The experience in a car park often leaves a lasting impression, and that experience typically means the difference to a user of a good or a bad day.
Our mission is to develop the very best car park experience for both site owners and car park users, for peace of mind, security, and value. And we care about great parking…even the concrete places!
We continue to develop creative commercial solutions to meet the changing needs of car park owners and their communities around the country.
CCP is experiencing rapid change as it develops and adapts to a changing market to deliver on its ambition to grow ahead of market.
The Role:
As Key Account Director, you will have end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of CCP's key accounts, taking full responsibility for client retention, commercial growth, service excellence and strategic account development.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will build trusted relationships, develop account strategies, lead commercial discussions and identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships through innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
This is a senior commercial role suited to someone who enjoys developing long-term client relationships, influencing decision-makers and delivering measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of a portfolio of strategic key accounts, ensuring long-term client retention, satisfaction and commercial growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior decision-makers and C-suite executives.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that identify opportunities for growth, service improvements and long-term partnership development.
- Lead contract renewals and commercial discussions, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes that protect and grow revenue.
- Identify opportunities to introduce new services and innovative solutions that enhance the client experience and operational performance.
- Act as the senior point of contact for your portfolio, taking ownership of escalated commercial and service-related matters through to resolution.
- Deliver regular client meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews and executive presentations that demonstrate value and strengthen client relationships.
- Prepare and present weekly portfolio reports, highlighting account performance, commercial opportunities, key risks and agreed actions.
- Provide regular business updates to clients, ensuring clear communication of performance, initiatives and future opportunities.
- Monitor account performance, identify trends and implement proactive action plans that improve client outcomes and commercial performance.
- Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts and CRM records to provide visibility across the business.
- Work collaboratively with Client Services, Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal and Marketing to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry developments to identify opportunities that strengthen client relationships and support business growth.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing strategic B2B key accounts with responsibility for client retention, revenue growth and overall account performance.
- Proven track record of developing long-term client relationships and successfully leading contract renewals.
- Experience managing a portfolio of multi-site or high-value client accounts, with the ability to influence stakeholders up to C-suite level.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to identify, negotiate and deliver revenue growth through account development, upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to overcome complex commercial challenges and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Experience acting as the senior point of contact for strategic accounts, taking ownership of complex commercial or service-related issues.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and develop strategic account plans that deliver measurable results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering business reviews and executive-level presentations.
- Highly organised with excellent planning, reporting and account management skills.
- Experience within a contract-based B2B service environment (such as parking, property, facilities management, utilities or outsourced services) is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to client sites.
If you're passionate about building long-term client partnerships, driving commercial growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
Join Creative Car Park and help shape the future of intelligent parking management.
Why join us?
- Competitive compensation package
- Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement within the company.
- Comprehensive training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Access to industry-leading technology and resources.
We are an equal opportunities employer, have a diverse workforce, and make our recruitment decisions based on your skills and experience. We can only accept applications from those who can prove their eligibility to work in the UK. No agencies, please.
This is a chance for you to join a meaningful and inspiring environment where you have the chance to make a daily impact. Every day you’ll work alongside passionate and down-to-earth colleagues who are dedicated, focused on delivering results, and love delivering stand out service.
