We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining an efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Support the catering team in preparing ingredients, garnishes, and side dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Serve meals to customers or staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Help with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed
- Support the team during busy service periods by providing additional assistance where required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£12.42 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 35 per week
