Duties
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients for cooking and food presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Support chefs and cooks by providing necessary utensils and equipment during service.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help with the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary setting is advantageous but not essential.
- A keen interest in food preparation and the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
