Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary team by ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in food preparation and kitchen operations.

Duties

  • Assist with the preparation of ingredients for cooking and food presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
  • Support chefs and cooks by providing necessary utensils and equipment during service.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
  • Help with the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary setting is advantageous but not essential.
