Role Overview
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work under the supervision of the Cook in Charge to support the preparation, basic cooking, and serving of meals. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, caring, and eager to learn, with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Service

  • Assist with the basic preparation and cooking of breakfast and evening meals
  • Prepare sandwiches, desserts, and snacks
  • Transport, serve, and distribute food and beverages as required

Dining Area Duties

  • Set up the dining area prior to meals
  • Clear and clean the dining area after service
  • Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

Experience & Training

  • Previous experience is not required
  • An understanding of care environments and a realistic expectation of the role is desirable
  • Full training will be provided, with qualifications encouraged and supported
